About Bidwell Health

Bidwell Health is an APRN-owned asynchronous telehealth practice operating in 12 U.S. states. We treat a focused set of conditions for $45 flat per visit — no insurance, no subscriptions, no video calls. Licensed providers review intake forms and, when clinically appropriate, send prescriptions directly to your local pharmacy.

What we are

A small, solo-founder-led telehealth practice focused on making a specific set of common conditions quick and inexpensive to treat. We're not trying to be Hims or Ro — we don't do subscriptions, we don't run a pharmacy, and we don't manage long-term chronic care.

The founder, Bidwell Cranage, is an APRN with 19 years of clinical experience spanning flight medicine, trauma, men's health, hair loss, hormone therapy, weight management, and dermatology. Ashley Cranage, APRN, joined as a Clinical Provider after 12 years in orthopedic, neuro, and trauma surgical first-assist.

What we treat

Six focused conditions. We intentionally don't expand beyond what's safe and appropriate for async evaluation:

What we don't treat

We're transparent about our scope. We don't prescribe:

Emergencies require in-person care — call 911 or go to an ER.

How we're regulated

Multiple layers:

Pricing

$45 flat per visit. No hidden fees. No subscription. The $45 covers the provider visit — medication is paid separately at your pharmacy. We accept all major credit cards; we don't accept insurance.

Cash-pay medication prices (through any pharmacy, with GoodRx or similar discount cards) are typically: generic sildenafil ~$15–30/mo, nitrofurantoin ~$10–20 per course, fluconazole ~$10–20 per dose, metronidazole ~$10–15 per course, finasteride ~$15–30/mo, lisinopril ~$4, metformin ~$4.

Turnaround

Async visits are reviewed by a provider during business hours. Most visits are resolved the same day; average turnaround is under 2 hours during business hours. Prescriptions are e-prescribed to your pharmacy of choice (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Publix, Costco, Amazon Pharmacy, or any other you select).

Our workflow

  1. You complete a clinical intake form (5–10 minutes) — symptoms, medical history, allergies, current medications, pharmacy
  2. Payment: $45 flat via Stripe
  3. A licensed provider (Bidwell or Ashley) reviews your intake during business hours
  4. If clinically appropriate, a prescription is e-prescribed to your pharmacy (same day during business hours)
  5. If we can't safely treat your case async, your $45 is refunded in full (no-Rx refund guarantee)

Security and privacy

All patient data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We sign Business Associate Agreements with every vendor that touches protected health information. We never sell patient data. Full details on our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policy.
