No insurance billing

Why Doesn't Bidwell Bill Insurance?

Bidwell Health does not bill insurance so the online visit price stays clear and predictable: $45 for the visit, medication paid separately at the pharmacy, and no required subscription.

Short answer: Bidwell Health is cash-pay for the online visit. That keeps pricing simple, avoids surprise bills, and lets patients know the visit cost before starting.

Why cash-pay can be simpler

Insurance billing can create delays, denials, deductible surprises, and explanation-of-benefits notices. Bidwell Health uses a direct-pay model so patients know the visit fee before checkout and do not need to wait for insurance processing.

Medication is different

If a prescription is clinically appropriate, it is sent to the patient's chosen pharmacy. The pharmacy sets the medication price and may accept pharmacy insurance, GoodRx, or another discount card.

Privacy and records

Because Bidwell Health does not bill insurance, the visit is not submitted as a medical insurance claim by Bidwell. Patients still receive a visit receipt for their own records.
