Online visit process
What Happens After I Submit an Online Visit?
After you submit a Bidwell Health online visit, a licensed clinician reviews your intake, checks safety factors, and decides whether online treatment is appropriate.
- No scheduled video visit is required for supported conditions.
- A licensed clinician reviews the intake before any prescription is sent.
- You may receive a message if more information is needed.
- If treatment is appropriate, prescriptions are sent to your chosen pharmacy.
- If online care is not appropriate, you are directed to safer care options.
What the clinician reviews
The review includes your condition-specific symptoms, red flags, pregnancy or safety answers when relevant, allergies, current medications, medical history, and the pharmacy you selected. The goal is to decide whether the visit fits online care or needs in-person evaluation.
What happens if treatment is appropriate
When treatment is clinically appropriate, the prescription is sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Pharmacy processing and pickup timing depend on the pharmacy, medication stock, and any pharmacy insurance or discount-card workflow.
What happens if more information is needed
The clinician may message you through the patient portal if something needs clarification before a decision can be made. You can reply in the portal rather than starting over.
