What Conditions Does Bidwell Health Not Treat?

Bidwell Health is built for supported low-acuity adult online visits, not emergencies or conditions that need hands-on evaluation.

Short answer: Bidwell Health does not treat emergencies, pediatric patients, controlled substances, pregnancy-related complications, chronic pain, complex or unstable conditions, or symptoms requiring in-person testing, imaging, or physical examination.

Conditions outside Bidwell Health's online scope

Bidwell Health does not treat chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions, severe abdominal or pelvic pain, pregnancy-related complications, pediatric visits, chronic pain, controlled-substance requests, complex or unstable conditions, or symptoms that need in-person testing, imaging, or examination.

Why some visits are declined

A licensed clinician may decline online treatment when the intake shows red flags, medication interactions, pregnancy-related safety concerns, symptoms outside protocol, or a need for in-person care. That decision is meant to route the patient to the safer setting.
