Adult-only care

Does Bidwell Health Treat Children?

No. Bidwell Health provides online visits for adults 18 and older only.

Short answer: Bidwell Health does not provide pediatric care, visits for minors, or parent-submitted visits for children. Children should be seen by a pediatrician, family clinician, urgent care, or emergency care depending on the symptoms.

Why the age limit matters

Pediatric care often uses different dosing, safety checks, exam findings, and follow-up standards than adult care. A symptom that may fit an online adult protocol may need different evaluation in a child.

Can a parent complete the intake for a child?

No. Bidwell Health intake forms are intended for the adult patient receiving care. A parent should not submit a Bidwell Health visit on behalf of a minor.

Where should children go instead?

For non-emergency symptoms, use a pediatrician, family clinician, retail clinic, or urgent care that treats children. For severe symptoms, trouble breathing, dehydration, severe pain, allergic reactions, or emergency concerns, seek emergency care.
