Bidwell Health offers adult online ED visits with no insurance billing and no scheduled video visit required. A licensed clinician reviews your health history, medications, safety factors, and contraindications before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

What the cash-pay visit covers
The $45 visit pays for a licensed clinician’s review and prescription decision. It does not buy a guaranteed prescription, include tablets or replace a physical examination or tests when those are needed. Medication, if prescribed, is paid separately to your pharmacy.
Compare your full cost before filling
- Start with the $45 visit fee.
- Ask for the pharmacy price for the exact drug, strength and quantity prescribed. Compare a daily supply with daily treatment, not with a few as-needed tablets.
- Ask whether the cash price, your prescription coverage or a discount-card price is lowest. A discount card generally replaces insurance billing for that fill; ask the pharmacy rather than assuming they can be combined.

No insurance billing
You do not need health insurance for the Bidwell visit, and there is no required subscription. Using a cash-pay visit does not prevent you from asking the pharmacy about prescription coverage. Visit payment and pharmacy payment are separate decisions.
What to prepare
Have a complete medication list, recent blood-pressure readings if available, relevant heart and medical history, and any prior ED treatment details. Adults must be physically in one of Bidwell’s 11 supported states. Tell the clinician about nitrates, “poppers,” riociguat, alpha blockers and other ED medicines.
When online care may not fit
Bidwell’s online ED service does not treat people using nitrates, people with a heart attack, stroke or cardiac arrest in the past six months, or people with low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure. These are practice eligibility limits; an in-person clinician can assess other care options.
A clinician may recommend an examination, tests or specialist care. Chest pain, collapse or severe trouble breathing are emergencies: call 911 rather than starting an online visit. ED medicine must not be combined with nitrates or riociguat.
