What ED safety review checks
The clinician reviews medical history, cardiovascular symptoms, blood-pressure concerns, medicines and prior treatment. Nitrates, “poppers” and riociguat cannot be combined with PDE5 inhibitors; other interactions may also rule out or change a treatment. Some people need in-person assessment. Bidwell’s online ED service does not treat people using nitrates, people with a heart attack, stroke or cardiac arrest in the past six months, or people with low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure. These are practice eligibility limits; an in-person clinician can assess other care options.
Local pharmacy model
If prescribed, medicine goes to the pharmacy you choose. The $45 visit and the pharmacy bill are separate. Ask the pharmacy for the exact drug, strength and quantity price, and compare cash, prescription coverage or a discount card. Ask which payment method applies; do not assume a discount card stacks with insurance.

When is urgent help needed?
Call 911 for chest pain, collapse, severe trouble breathing or swelling of the tongue or throat. If chest pain follows an ED medicine, stop sexual activity, tell responders what you took and when, and do not take your own nitroglycerin. An erection lasting more than four hours needs an emergency department immediately, even without pain. Stop the medicine and seek immediate medical attention for sudden vision or hearing decrease or loss.
