What does the $45 visit cover?
The $45 visit covers clinician review of your UTI symptoms, pregnancy status, allergies, medication risks and red flags, the decision on whether online treatment is appropriate, and 21 days of follow-up messaging about this visit.
What may change the total cost?
The total out-of-pocket cost is the $45 online visit plus any pharmacy medication cost. Bidwell Health does not set pharmacy prices and does not bundle medication into the visit fee. You can ask your pharmacy about insurance, GoodRx, SingleCare, or other discount-card pricing.
When online care may not fit
Seek same-day in-person care for fever of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, chills, pain in the side or back below the ribs, severe pelvic or lower abdominal pain, vomiting, visible blood in the urine without typical bladder-infection symptoms, heavy bleeding or clots, or blood that persists after treatment. Get same-day care if urinary symptoms get worse quickly or significantly. If pregnant or possibly pregnant, contact your obstetric clinician promptly. Call 911 or go to the emergency department for confusion, fainting, trouble breathing, inability to stay awake, or severe illness; inability to urinate or inability to keep fluids down also needs urgent emergency assessment. Do not wait for an online review. Recurrent UTIs (two or more in six months, or three or more in twelve months) are outside Bidwell's routine online visit and need in-person assessment with a urine culture. A urinary catheter, a known kidney or urinary tract abnormality, kidney disease or a weakened immune system can also mean in-person testing is the safer route; the clinician will tell you if that applies.
