How Much Does Hims Cost for a Year?
Hims advertises a price per dose. This is what twelve months adds up to at the quantities Hims sells, from its own pages, next to what the same generic costs at a pharmacy.

Where the Hims number comes from
Hims lists sildenafil "from $4 per use"; on a six-dose monthly plan of 50 mg the price is $6 a dose (Innerbody's review of August 23, 2026, used where Hims' own page does not show the tier). Hims charges $5 per order, which its support pages call shipping. Daily tadalafil is $2.63 a dose monthly, $1.63 quarterly, and about $1.07 on a twelve-month prepay. What changes the total
Quantity and prepayment. Hims' plans stop at 16 doses a month, and the first renewal can be charged early. Cancelling requires at least two days' notice before renewal, and Hims does not refund partly used subscription periods. Prepaying twelve months of daily tadalafil brings the per-dose price within about a dollar of the pharmacy price, though the year is paid up front.
How that compares with a one-time visit
Generic sildenafil 50 mg was $6.36 for 30 tablets at Cost Plus Drugs and roughly $11 to $17 for 10 with a coupon at a retail pharmacy on September 5, 2026. A $45 Bidwell Health visit writes the standard prescription for six months and sends it to any pharmacy you choose, so a year is two visits plus the pharmacy's price for the tablets. Bidwell Health serves eleven states; Hims serves fifty.
