Prescription delay
What If My Prescription Is Delayed?
Prescription delays can happen because of pharmacy processing, stock issues, insurance or discount-card questions, or the need for additional review.
Short answer: Check with the pharmacy first. If the pharmacy has not received the prescription, says the medication is delayed, or needs prescriber action, message Bidwell Health through the portal for non-emergency help.

First, check with the pharmacy
Ask whether the prescription was received, whether the medication is in stock, and whether anything is needed from you. Sometimes the pharmacy has the prescription but has not processed it yet.
If the pharmacy needs prescriber action
If the pharmacy says it needs clarification, a resend, or a different pharmacy, message Bidwell Health through the portal with the pharmacy name and the exact issue.
If symptoms are getting worse
Do not wait on pharmacy logistics if symptoms become severe, unsafe, or urgent. Use urgent care, emergency care, or local medical evaluation when symptoms require it.
