What Happens If I Am Not a Candidate?
If Bidwell Health cannot safely treat a patient online, the visit is declined and the patient is directed to a safer care option.
Short answer: If online care is not clinically appropriate, Bidwell Health declines the visit and directs the patient to a safer care option. Prescriptions are only sent when clinician review supports treatment.
- No scheduled video visit is required for supported Bidwell Health online visits.
- A licensed clinician reviews the intake before prescriptions are sent.
- The current price is shown before checkout; medication cost is separate at the pharmacy.
- Online care is not for emergencies or symptoms that require in-person evaluation.
Why a visit may be declined
Common reasons include red-flag symptoms, pregnancy-related concerns, medication interactions, symptoms outside protocol, missing safety information, unstable conditions, or medication requests outside scope.
What to do next
Depending on the issue, the safer next step may be urgent care, emergency care, primary care, OB/GYN, dermatology, urology, or the patient’s regular prescriber.
