Pharmacy transfer
Can My Prescription Be Transferred to Another Pharmacy?
In many cases, pharmacies can transfer prescriptions between locations, but transfer rules depend on the medication, pharmacy, and whether it has already been filled.

Start with the pharmacy
Call the pharmacy that received the prescription and ask whether it can transfer the prescription to the new location. Many routine non-controlled prescriptions can be transferred by the pharmacy.
When Bidwell may need to help
If the pharmacy cannot transfer the prescription or says a new prescription is required, message Bidwell Health through the portal with the new pharmacy name, address, and phone number. The clinician or support team can review next steps.
When to seek urgent care instead
If the prescription delay creates a safety concern or symptoms become severe, seek urgent or emergency care rather than waiting for a portal message.
