Travel refill
Can I Get a Prescription Refill While Traveling?
If you are physically located in a supported state, Bidwell Health may be able to review a short-term bridge refill for an eligible stable non-controlled medication while you are traveling.
- You must be physically located in a supported state at the time of care.
- Bridge refills are for stable non-controlled medications.
- You choose the local pharmacy during intake.
- Emergency symptoms should be handled locally, not through online refill care.
Location matters
Online care depends on where you are physically located during the visit, not just your home address. Bidwell Health can only provide visits in supported states.
Pharmacy pickup while traveling
If treatment is appropriate, the prescription is sent to the pharmacy you choose during intake. That may be a chain pharmacy, grocery store pharmacy, local independent pharmacy, or other licensed pharmacy.
When to use local care instead
If you ran out of medication and now have severe symptoms, unstable readings, chest pain, trouble breathing, severe pain, or other urgent symptoms, use local urgent or emergency care.
