Online Prescription Without Insurance

Bidwell Health offers adult online visits without insurance billing, with prescriptions sent to the chosen pharmacy when clinically appropriate.

Short answer: Yes. Bidwell Health does not bill insurance for the online visit. A licensed clinician reviews the intake, and when treatment is clinically appropriate, the prescription is sent to the patient's chosen pharmacy. Medication cost is paid separately at the pharmacy.

How cash-pay online prescriptions work

Start a supported online visit, complete the intake, choose your pharmacy, and pay the visit fee shown before checkout. A licensed clinician reviews symptoms, history, allergies, medications, and safety factors before deciding whether a prescription is appropriate.

Medication cost is separate

The visit fee does not include medication. The pharmacy sets the final medication price and may accept pharmacy insurance, coupons, or discount cards when available.

When online prescribing is not appropriate

Bidwell Health does not prescribe for emergencies, controlled substances, severe symptoms, unstable conditions, or situations where in-person testing or urgent evaluation is safer.
