Online Prescription Without In-Person Visit

For supported adult conditions, Bidwell Health can review an online intake without an in-person visit and send prescriptions when clinically appropriate.

Short answer: For supported conditions, yes. Bidwell Health uses a structured online intake instead of an in-person appointment. A licensed clinician still reviews the medical information before deciding whether online treatment and prescribing are appropriate.

What replaces the in-person visit

The online intake asks about symptoms, duration, medical history, medications, allergies, contraindications, pregnancy status when relevant, and pharmacy preference. Some visit types may require photos or medication-bottle images.

A prescription is not automatic

A prescription is sent only when the clinician determines that online treatment is clinically appropriate. Some symptoms require urgent care, primary care, labs, imaging, or in-person evaluation instead.

Where the prescription goes

When treatment is appropriate, the prescription is sent electronically to the pharmacy selected during intake. Pharmacy pickup timing and final medication cost are controlled by the pharmacy.
