What the cash-pay visit covers
The visit covers clinician review of your hair loss intake, safety factors, and treatment options. If treatment fits, medication such as finasteride, dutasteride, topical minoxidil, or low-dose oral minoxidil may be sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy when clinically appropriate.
No insurance billing
Bidwell Health does not bill insurance or submit claims. You pay for the online visit directly, then pay the pharmacy separately for any medication. Pharmacy pricing varies by medication, pharmacy, quantity, insurance, and discount-card pricing.
When online care may not fit
Online hair loss treatment may not be appropriate during pregnancy or attempts to conceive, with sudden patchy hair loss, scalp infection, scarring, systemic symptoms, low blood pressure symptoms, certain cardiac history, or medication contraindications.
