How HSA/FSA payment works
HSA and FSA accounts are designed for eligible medical expenses. A Bidwell Health online visit is a healthcare visit reviewed by a licensed clinician, so patients commonly use HSA/FSA funds for the visit fee. Final eligibility is controlled by your benefits administrator, not Bidwell Health.
Medication is a separate expense
If treatment is prescribed, medication cost is paid directly to the pharmacy. Prescription medication is usually HSA/FSA eligible, but your pharmacy receipt is separate from the Bidwell Health visit receipt.
HSA/FSA is not insurance billing
Using HSA/FSA funds does not mean Bidwell Health bills insurance. The visit remains cash-pay, with no insurance forms, co-pays, or explanation of benefits. Patients who need a receipt can use the confirmation email or visit receipt for their records.
