Text message consent
If you provide a mobile number and choose to opt in, you agree to receive non-secure text messages from Bidwell Health at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include visit updates, appointment reminders, portal notifications, payment or billing reminders, prescription status updates, and general administrative updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not required to receive care.
Medical privacy and SMS
Text messages are not a secure patient portal. Bidwell Health will avoid including detailed medical information in text messages when possible. Sensitive information should be viewed in the secure patient portal or other approved secure channel.
